In 2023, the Harvard Climate Internship Program supported 41 graduate students from the Harvard Graduate School of Design, Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, Harvard Divinity School, Harvard Business School, Harvard Law School, and Harvard Kennedy School.  

Meet four recent Harvard Business School graduates working to accelerate solutions to the climate crisis around the world by expanding access to financing for solar power, connecting workers with good jobs in the clean economy, converting atmospheric carbon into inert rock, and decarbonizing building materials.

The Harvard Alumni Association (HAA) has named Grace O’Sullivan ’24 of Adams House and Chibuikem Uche ’24 of Currier House as this year’s David and Mimi Aloian Memorial Scholars.

For his senior capstone project, Harvard John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences student Sebastian Lindner-Liaw SB ’23 designed a bike powered by compressed air as an alternative to electric bikes, which rely on batteries that have high environmental and humanitarian costs.

Harvard government professors Dustin Tingley and Stephen Ansolabehere collaborated with students to design the course “Politics of the Environment and Climate Change.” The course contends with climate change as a fundamentally political problem, challenging students to navigate obstacles and opportunities for effective policymaking at all levels of government. 

Harvard Divinity School student Aliyah Collins MDiv ’23 founded the Eco-Healing Project to provide spiritual care to students at historically Black colleges and universities who are impacted by environmental injustice.
