Each fall, the thirteen alumni of the nominating committee review the candidates you and your fellow alumni submit. Each member spends approximately 2 weeks of time reviewing and discussing all the possible candidates.
From its deliberations, the committee typically presents eight candidates for five anticipated vacancies on the Board of Overseers and nine candidates for the six available positions as HAA Elected Director. You and your fellow alumni then vote on this slate in the Harvard board elections each spring.
