Close to 200 people joined the Harvard University Planned Giving team for a Family, Finance, and Philanthropy event in Silicon Valley on May 4. The evening kicked off with a welcome by Kent Walker AB ’83 followed by a discussion with Kent Walker and Alasdair Halliday AB '82, philanthropic advisor and director of principal gifts. It was a chance for the audience to consider what it means to talk about money and family dynamics. Anne McClintock, executive director of University Planned Giving, then made brief remarks on charitable planning. Finally, Rob Chandra MBA ’93 introduced Harvard neuroscientist David Ginty for a presentation on his pioneering research. The event concluded with a few remarks from Rob Chandra and a festive reception.
