Katherine Kulik AB '15, Simone Kovacs AB '15, Dina Perez AB '15, & Linda Trujano AB '15

I first met Simone Kovacs ’15 while ice-skating outside of the Science Center in January 2012. It was friendship at first sight, and we ended up being roommates for the next three years. A few weeks later, we met Dina Perez ’15 and Linda Trujano ’15 after joining one of Harvard’s single-gender social organizations and have remained close friends since then!

Anne (Waters) Enberg AB '07, MBA '12 & Elise (Eggart) Balliro AB '07

I have been besties with Elise (Eggart) Balliro ’07, EdM ’11 since dorm crew. We were assigned to be roommates in a Wigglesworth suite of six, so we'd chatted that summer. She has helped me grow as a person in more ways than I can count, and I am so thankful the housing gods smiled down on us that summer of 2003. Over our 20 years of friendship, we've amassed many great memories, but my favorites involve us hanging lazily at our dorm room desks, listening to pop music, and laughing until our stomachs hurt

"⁠When I first met Gita (Abhiraman ’18) I was convinced she didn’t like me. But we didn’t really meet until the night of the Love Story showing. After the movie finished, and I was an emotional wreck due to a recent breakup, Gita made it her mission to cheer me up. We went back to the dorm, where there was a piano, and Gita sight-read Maroon 5 songs while I sang along. We were up for hours singing, talking, and laughing. "I met my Harvard BFF the first day of dorm crew in September 1975. Dave (a.k.a. Rubes) Rubinstein ’79 was staying in the room across the hall from me in Stoughton. From the first time I talked with him, I found him to be one of the funniest and smartest people I'd ever met. We hit it off instantly. Even though he lived in Pennypacker and I in North House, we spent more time together than most roommates. We were Quincy roommates (along with two others) for the next three years. John Woodford AB '63, AM '68 & Elizabeth Duffy AB' 63

My wife-to-be, Elizabeth Duffy ’63, and I met in the David Riesman Freshman Seminar. We first hit it off as volunteers working at a camp in New Hampshire that we were cleaning the woods for. We exchanged letters that summer. The following year I began to follow her around in earnest, which I did all the way to her graduation in June '63.
