On February 22, 2017, alumni and friends in the San Francisco area joined the Harvard University Planned Giving team for a Family, Finance, and Philanthropy dinner. Guests were welcomed to the Ritz-Carlton San Francisco by hosts Michael R. Alderete AB ’79 and Joanne Alderete; Winston H. Chen SM ’67, PhD ’70 and Phyllis Huang; Zara Tepper Haimo AB ’68, MBA ’80; and Marc Stad AB ’01 and Elisa H. Stad. The evening kicked off with a cocktail reception. During dinner, Anne McClintock, Executive Director, Harvard University Planned Giving, made a brief presentation on charitable planning ideas, followed by a discussion on family and wealth led by Alasdair Halliday AB '82, Philanthropic Advisor and Director of Principal Gifts.
