I am a PhD candidate at UT Austin but grew up in Miami and back in the city for research and personal reasons. I'm also a writer and cultural critic and have worked for public radio. I'm a big movie-goer and love to listen to audiobooks. I'm excited to connect with folks in my hometown as I get reacquainted with the city.

I graduated from HLS in May 2023 and was an Equal Justice Works Fellow at a local Miami non-profit until February of this year. In February 2025, I launched my own public interest law-firm, The Internationalist Law Center (ILC). The ILC launches campaigns that simultaenously utilize litigation, policy advocacy, and community organizing to divest illegally invested U.S. public funds from human rights violations in the Global South.

I am a 2025 graduate of the Harvard School of Dental Medicine and am currently completing a 1-year residency in general dentistry at the Miami VA. I am originally from South Florida, but I loved the years I spent in the Boston! I look forward to meeting other people who have a connection to both Boston and Miami.

I work in AI and healthcare, and am finishing my MPH at Harvard. I’ve been in Miami for ~5 years, so hoping to meet fellow alumni who explore the city, enjoy good food, and are passionate about their work.

Brittney began her career out of HLS as a litigation attorney at the firm Paul, Weiss in New York City, focusing on antitrust and breach of contract issues. She subsequently moved to the firm Holland & Knight in Miami, where she continued to advise complex commercial enterprises, helping them negotiate with stakeholders and align business strategy with legal and regulatory requirements. After her husband somehow convinced her to acquire three Shih-Tzus, Brittney quickly realized how overwhelming and largely unregulated the pet food and supplement industry had become. All three of her dogs suffer from allergies to mainstream proteins and suffer digestive issues from many commonplace treat ingredients, making it nearly impossible to find compatible products. Determined to change that, Brittney co-founded Chompagne, a premium brand for health-conscious, discerning pet owners who want limited-ingredient and health-beneficial treats that align with their values and fast-paced lifestyle. Before Chompagne, Brittney began her pivot into consumer goods with development of an AI-powered luxury authentication app, providing advice on technology and compliance, streamlining supplier pipelines, and managing product acquisition. These experiences gave her a unique foundation for scaling operations and navigating highly regulated industries. As CEO, Brittney now leverages her expertise in strategy, planning, and cross-functional leadership to drive product development, brand growth, and market expansion. She ensures that Chompagne not only delights customers but also operates with the resilience and foresight needed to succeed in a competitive consumer market.
