We've been hearing from you and your fellow alumni about how much you value engaging with and hearing from University leadership and faculty. With that in mind, last year the Harvard Alumni Association launched a series of in-person and virtual programs featuring conversations with Harvard leadership and faculty, offering insightful discussions about the academic landscape of the University.

This series will continue throughout the 2025-2026 academic year with a variety of in-person and virtual programs through which you can connect with Harvard leaders and engage with your Harvard community. In-person events will also include a reception where you can meet and connect with alumni in your area.

We hope you will join us in-person or virtually for one of these upcoming programs! We will continue to update you and this website as new opportunities arise.

The Good Life: On Preparing Young People to Lead Moral and Meaningful Lives

High percentages of both teens and young adults these days are hyper-focused on their achievements and happiness while reporting little or no meaning and purpose in their lives and suffering high rates of loneliness and mental health challenges. The costs to society of this hyper-individualism are also high. How do we prepare teens and young adults to find rich meaning and purpose and to be responsible, caring citizens who advance the common good?
