Entrepreneur Self
I am the Chief Medical Officer at South City Hospital in Karachi, where I oversee hospital-wide clinical operations, governance, and quality improvement. My work blends a decade of frontline emergency medicine with executive leadership, focusing on redesigning systems for safer, more efficient, and patient-centered care.
A graduate of Harvard Medical School’s Master in Clinical Service Operations (2022), I specialized in optimizing healthcare delivery through systems thinking, Lean transformation, and strategic service planning. My capstone centered on patient flow optimization in mass vaccination settings—a model that informed pandemic response strategies in Pakistan.
I also completed Harvard’s Safety, Quality, Informatics, and Leadership (SQIL) program and hold management and leadership certifications from Harvard Business School Online and the London School of Economics. These experiences have shaped my philosophy of marrying clinical excellence with operational strategy.
My perspectives on healthcare equity and patient safety have been featured on CNN International and national media, and I have spoken at platforms such as Future Fest and WHO consultative forums, advocating for safer, more equitable systems of care.
Currently, I am expanding my role beyond hospital leadership—transitioning into governance positions in social development organizations and exploring an entrepreneurial path in healthcare services. This next chapter reflects my belief that systemic impact comes from crossing boundaries between medicine, business, and community design.
Outside of work, I am a bibliophile and minimalist at heart, curating spaces and ideas that allow people to feel both grounded and inspired.
