CEO Duratron
Sibusiso Mvelase is the epitome of ‘Self Made’. His rise to becoming a business magnate in the Telecoms, Logistics and Finance industries has sculptured him to a formidable figure in Africa. From his humble beginnings in Duduza East of Johannesburg- South Africa, where he grew up being inspired by his father who was also an entrepreneur in transport and logistics, he always had a bite for business and a sting for technology and energy. His very first take to entrepreneurship was with his very first fibre and product distribution business at the age of 24, InFratel. Two years later (2008) he established his second company Buhleni Investment and Projects which later rebranded as Elcos International Ltd. A business that sharpened his scales as an entrepreneur and allowed him room to level ground, learn and grow beyond his imagination. That leap of faith later, saw him becoming the founder of Transtech Africa Global Telecoms, a company that claimed an outstanding success in the field, which he later exited in pursuit of other business ambitions. In present day, Transtech is among the leading system integrators and power systems solutions in Africa. Duraton and Boost are his latest business ventures. Duraton being an energy product designing company, with plans to run its own manufacturing houses in the Middle East, Africa and Europe. Boost is an energy sharing company which expands its services through energy sharing and mobility. An ambitious business venture with plans to position itself among pioneers in the energy product sharing and electronic vehicles battery swap stations.
