Innovative Products' Evaluation Adminstration Manager & Scientific committee RapporteurEgyptian Drug Authority
My name is Basma El Sherif. I graduated from the Faculty of Pharmacy, Cairo University, in 2009. I worked as a hospital pharmacist at my early career, and I was a board-certified pharmacotherapy specialist in 2016. Then I shifted to work at the Central Administration of Pharmaceutical Affairs that is now the Egyptian Drug Authority. Initially, I worked as a scientific evaluator for non-reference scientific files submitted for the registration and re-registration process. Later, I transitioned to the innovative products administration, which established a new regulatory pathway for registering innovative products in Egypt for the first time. I was also part of the initial team that implemented this regulatory framework. And now I'm the manager of the Evaluation Administration and the rapporteur of the scientific committee.
