To reserve a space on this program, a $2,000 deposit is required per person. Final payment is due 120 days before departure (July 16, 2027) payable by check or wire transfer only to “Distant Horizons Inc”. Participants will receive an invoice directly from the tour operator, Distant Horizons for all subsequent payments after the initial deposit.
Notification of cancellation must be received in writing by HAA from the participant. Cancellations received within 14 days of booking are eligible for a full refund, provided that initial deposits were made 121 days or more prior to departure. After 14 days, $1,000 per person becomes non-refundable.

What to Expect
This program is best suited for travelers who are physically active and comfortable with a full schedule of sightseeing, lectures, and cultural activities. We consider it to be moderately strenuous, with several days that may be physically demanding due to the pace and variety of activities. Participants should expect to walk approximately one to three miles each day, often over cobblestone streets, uneven sidewalks, and other historic surfaces. Many visits involve extended periods of standing, particularly in museums, historic sites, and during guided walking tours. Some locations require climbing stairs, negotiating high thresholds, or walking on uneven terrain where handrails may be limited or unavailable. Elevators are not always available in historic buildings. To fully enjoy the experience, travelers should be in good overall health, maintain an active lifestyle, and be able to walk independently without difficulty.
