On January 25, 2018, alumni and friends from the Bay Area joined Harvard University Planned Giving in San Francisco for dinner and a discussion on family, finance, and philanthropy.

Following a cocktail reception, host Marc Stad AB ’01 welcomed guests to dinner and talked about the impact of his Harvard experience. Anne McClintock, executive director of Harvard University Planned Giving, shared a presentation on charitable planning ideas. McClintock was followed by Alasdair Halliday AB ’82, philanthropic advisor and director of principal gifts, who led a discussion on family and wealth. Host Arthur C. Patterson AB ’66, MBA ’68, P’20, ’16 capped off the evening with remarks on some of the various areas at Harvard he has supported.
