Hello, By way of introduction, my name is May Abo Ghally. I am a Senior Tax Advisor at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and formerly served as Senior Technical Assistant to the Vice Minister of Finance for Tax Policy in Egypt. I work on international and domestic tax matters, with a particular focus on domestic resource mobilisation, tax policy, and capacity building in Arabic speaking and developing countries. My professional interests include tax administration, international taxation, and the design of effective and equitable tax systems. I hold advanced degrees in tax law, banking, finance, and business, which have shaped my multidisciplinary approach to policy and governance. Beyond work, I enjoy travelling, staying active, and connecting with like-minded people from diverse cultural backgrounds. By attending this event, I look forward to exchanging ideas, learning from different perspectives, and building meaningful professional connections.
