This Is a Past Event

Come investigate the Ice Age! Learn together with hands-on glacier demonstrations and activities, as well as unearth real geologic clues about New England’s icy past. Examine the world of ice age animals by handling real fossils and exploring The Harvard Museum of Natural History's collection of enormous Cenozoic Mammals. Step into the world of ice age man by creating your own Paleolithic cave art. All activities are designed to be a fun and interactive experience for elementary age students and their families to participate in together.

While there will be two sessions of the program, there is only space still available in our morning 10:30 - 12 pm session. The afternoon session is now at capacity. When you register please only select one time and register all party members, adults included.

Harvard Alumni and Guests: $15 per person (includes admission to the museum).

Participants are encouraged to come early or stay late and explore the museum before or after class. These programs are not appropriate for children under 5 years of age. Advance registration required. Families must register at least one adult and one child for this program.

Harvard University and the Harvard Alumni Association encourages persons with disabilities to participate in its programs and activities.
