1636 Loyalty Society

The 1636 Loyalty Society recognizes dedicated donors who give to the Harvard College Fund or Graduate School Fund every year. Membership in the 1636 Loyalty Society begins with a second consecutive annual gift and continues with ongoing annual support. These gifts can be outright gifts, pledge payments, or multiyear pledges.

Associates

With their leadership-level gifts, Associates donors help make the extraordinary possible for the Harvard community. Collectively, Associates help Harvard students and leaders face new challenges, seize opportunities, and change lives.

The Associates Program has five leadership giving levels with adjusted levels for current students and recent graduates. Associates-level donors are listed in the Annual Report of Associates Giving and enjoy various special events throughout the year.

John Harvard Society

The John Harvard Society acknowledges and celebrates the thousands of alumni and friends who have made a legacy gift for Harvard College, the Harvard Kenneth C. Griffin Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, the Harvard John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, or other Faculty of Arts and Sciences programs. Legacy gifts include bequests and other estate plan provisions, as well as charitable trusts, gift annuities, and other planned gifts. John Harvard Society members are celebrated with a special event each year.

Parent Partners

With annual contributions to the Harvard College Fund beginning at $25,000, Harvard College Parent Partners make a profound impact on the intellectually, socially, and personally transformative opportunities that Harvard offers their child and its entire student body. Parent Partners deepen their connection with the College through exclusive events with Harvard College leadership and faculty, special updates from campus, recognition through the HCF Associates Program, and personal support from the HCF Parent Engagement Programs staff.

Harvard Yard Society

Harvard Yard Society members support the vision of the Edgerley Family Dean with unrestricted gifts to the Harvard College Fund, Graduate School Fund, or other area of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences (FAS). Their generosity helps unlock unlimited potential for the FAS community, allowing Harvard leaders to seize new opportunities and address immediate needs. All members receive ongoing communications illustrating how FAS students and scholars have benefited from their support. They also enjoy benefits at the following leadership levels:

Harvard Yard Society Members

With a $50,000 unrestricted gift, Harvard Yard Society Members are celebrated with invitations to a Harvard Yard Society and President’s Associate event in the following academic year. Their names are also included on an honorary donor wall the following year.

Harvard Yard Society Partners

With a $250,000 unrestricted gift or pledge, Harvard Yard Society Partners are celebrated with invitations to a Harvard Yard Society and President’s Associate event each year for five years. Their names are also included on the honorary donor wall for five years.

Harvard Yard Society Fellows

With a $500,000 unrestricted gift or pledge, Harvard Yard Society Fellows are celebrated with invitations to a Harvard Yard Society and President’s Associate event each year for 10 years. Their names are also included on the honorary donor wall for 10 years.

Dean's Fellows

With a $1 million unrestricted gift or pledge, Dean's Fellows are recognized in the Harvard Yard Society in perpetuity. They receive lifetime invitations to Harvard Yard Society and President’s Associate events and are honored on a Harvard Yard Society donor wall.
