Erin Goodman is the Executive Director of the Weatherhead Center for International Affairs, a leading social sciences research institute at Harvard University. Previously, she was Associate Director of Academic Programs at the David Rockefeller Center for Latin American Studies (2011–2018), where for a time she managed Harvard’s Cuba Studies Program, including serving as a production liaison on the documentary film, Los cubanos de Harvard. Erin is also a professional Spanish–English translator, and in addition to creative work such as fiction and poetry, she has been a lead translator for The New York Times Opinion Section (2019–2021), the quarterly magazine OnCuba Travel, and the Cuba Capacity Building Project at Columbia University. Erin is passionate about U.S.-Cuba relations, historical memory, and the arts. She holds an EdM in International Education Policy from the HGSE, and a BA in International Relations from Wellesley College
