Calling all Maine-based Harvard alumni!

On Wednesday, September 11, alumni around the world will come together to welcome members of the Class of 2024 to their new cities! All Harvard University alumni who graduated between 2015 and 2024 are invited to participate.

Whether you are new to the area or have called it home for years, the Harvard community is your community—so we hope you will join us on September 11! Register with your LinkedIn profile or other social media accounts to see who's coming and connect with others before, during, and after the event.

This is a 'Welcome to Maine' event, as our membership covers the entire state and we have active participants from all over, including summer folks! You'll meet new and long-time members of all ages and backgrounds. Last year's event was a blast!

Happily Retired
I am a retired nurse and attorney, my most recent position being General Counsel of the Maine Medical Association. I interviewed Harvard College applicants from 1982 through 2022, an experience I found tremendously gratifying and humbling. Having recently moved to Brunswick, I spend my time working on my house, cycling, traveling, and playing and writing music.

OrganistChurch of the Holy Trinity (Anglican)
I would like to learn more about the Harvard Club and whether membership in Maine would allow me to attend Harvard Club events in other cities, such as San Francisco, CA and Savannah, GA. My graduate degree was in Germanic Languages and Literatures, but my undergrad years were focused on math and science. I have taught math, science and German here and abroad, played viola in the Delhi Symphony and sitar on All India Radio. Now I play the organ in churches and teach piano.

DesignerMichael Boucher Landscape Architecture
Through long distance running, I developed an appreciation for the constructed nature of landscapes. I studied Architecture and Spanish at the University of Virginia, and then Landscape Architecture at the GSD. I'm most excited by the possibility of precision in design to make legible indeterminate social and natural processes. In the several months I've lived in Maine, I've loved all the running, cycling, hiking, and swimming; and excited to learn how to cross country ski!
