After my recent graduation from John F. Kennedy School of Government and as a first-generation international student, I have joined a social impact startup named SHRI. It aims to make sanitation and public health a right for all especially the most vulnerable sections of society who are generally bereft of such basic services. In the era of climate change and pandemics, my background from engineering to policy aids me appreciate better this space of sustainable development especially at the intersection of health, environment and economics. I enjoy outdoor sports like running (2 half marathons in India and Kenya) and hiking (India, USA, Kenya), apart from blogging and cultural exploration. In this event, I hope to meet Harvard wide alumni working/living in the region of Providence and know more about their work and passions.
