Assistant Director/ CounselorUniversity of Pennsylvania
Long-term higher education professional with experience supporting first-year, international and, most recently, veteran student scholars within private college, ivy and large research 1 universities, in both suburban and urban settings. Deeply passionate for supporting student access initiatives to assist students, with strong academic potential, to succeed in the college setting. Professionally trained counselor in adult and organizational dynamics. Further trained and currently certified as a crisis disaster response counselor in NJ and PA. Recognized nationally, for his mentorship and advocacy to advance the needs of his fellow LGBTQA community. Loving son, caregiving for mother, who recently celebrated her 50th year as a cancer survivor - we are deeply blessed. Hobbies include genealogy, a skill inherited from grandfather and happy to continue the tradition. I very much look forward to meeting others that have had similar positive experiences to share while at Harvard.
