This Is a Past Event

Join us for a discussion, led by Harvard archivists, on letters written between a group of friends from the class of 1956 who met at Harvard and continued their friendship into adulthood. From double dates and undergraduate study stressors to post-graduate life beyond Harvard, these letters detail the lives of three Harvard alumni whose friendship began on campus and continued through law degrees, military service, families, and professional life. Guests will hear stories of campus life and events in the 1950s, including a look at Radcliffe College via materials from the Schlesinger Library. Following the live discussion among our archivists, the program will turn to an open Q&A. This event is co-sponsored by the HAA, Harvard Library, and the HAA Crimson Society.

This event is open to Harvard/Radcliffe reunioning alumni and members of the Crimson Society.
