Take a break from the city's fast pace and join Harvard Club of Georgia (Europe) for the Harvard Moves initiative - promoting movement, connection, and outdoor adventures with fellow alumni!
Event Details
- Date: Sunday, November 8, 2026 (weather permitting)
- Start Time & Meeting Points:
- 10:45 AM – Turtle Lake Ropeway (Chavchavadze 75 / საბაგირო)
- 11:00 AM – Turtle statue (Turtle Lake parking lot, for those coming by car)
- Route & Duration: Easy-to-moderate route starting at the Turtle Lake, passing the Nightingale Meadow/Bulbulebis Chala finishing at the Funicular. Overall duration approx. 1.5 – 2 hours.
- 13:00PM – optional lunch at the Funicular café (self-paid)
- Family & Friends are welcome!
It will be a light 6 km walk with authentic talks and spectacular views of the city, followed by lunch at the Funicular.
Packing List / What to Bring
- Comfortable walking or hiking shoes
- Weather-appropriate clothing (layers recommended)
- Water bottle
- Good mood!
