About this Event

Please join us as we celebrate the generosity of John Harvard Society members and hear from one of our talented faculty, Gabriella Coleman, who studies the rich, deep world of hacking. She will share a fascinating glimpse into the history, politics, and ethics of hacking and share a bit of her leading research on how former underground hackers came to occupy a privileged spot in the security industry.

Featuring

Gabriella Coleman, Professor of Anthropology and Director of Undergraduate Studies

Hosts

Nick ’73 and Julie ’78 Sakellariadis, John Harvard Society Chairs

The John Harvard Society currently recognizes over 3,200 living alumni and friends who have included the FAS and affiliates in their estate plans. Your generosity helps Harvard continue its exceptional record of education and research for the benefit of future generations.
