High percentages of both teens and young adults these days are hyper-focused on their achievements and happiness while reporting little or no meaning and purpose in their lives and suffering high rates of loneliness and mental health challenges. The costs to society of this hyper-individualism are also high. How do we prepare teens and young adults to find rich meaning and purpose and to be responsible, caring citizens who advance the common good? This talk will take up these questions.
