Join us for a conversation with Erin McDermott, John D. Nichols '53 Family Director of Athletics, and Harvard's football captain Nate Leskovec

Erin McDermott, Harvard's eighth John D. Nichols '53 Family Director of Athletics since July 1, 2020, has reshaped the future of Harvard Athletics. Under her leadership, Harvard Athletics achieved remarkable success, securing national championships and Ivy League trophies. McDermott's strategic vision propelled Harvard to its highest LEARFIELD Directors' Cup ranking in years, marking a historic achievement. In the following year, the department's success continued with additional Ivy League championships and national titles. As a former Division I student-athlete at Hofstra, she brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to the world of collegiate athletics. 

Nate LeskovecNate Leskovec is a standout athlete who has made his mark on the football field at Harvard. In 2022, he earned numerous honors, including All-Ivy League recognition and national accolades. Nate showcased his defensive skills with 36 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, and 4.5 sacks. He had a remarkable season opener with 4.5 sacks against Merrimack College. In 2021, he secured Second-Team All-Ivy League honors, recording 37 tackles and 6.5 sacks. Nate is not only a football star but also an accomplished athlete in basketball and track. His high school achievements, including setting a school record in tackles-for-loss, highlight his athletic excellence. Nate's consistent dedication and remarkable performance make him a true standout in the world of collegiate football.

This program is open to Harvard and Radcliffe College alumni, reunioning alumni, and members of the Crimson Society.
