Join us for a fireside chat with MrBeast lead strategist Jason Kirk and Harvardwood Treasurer Gene Pao.
Jason Kirk has spent over twenty years across digital video and the creator economy, working across all sides of it: platforms, rights holders, multiple startups, a major studio, and now the largest creator in the world. His work consistently focuses around building the commercial infrastructure around audiences that platforms create but don’t monetize on their own — across companies ranging from a Fortune 100 studio to early-mid stage startups.
As a Global Partnerships lead at Beast Industries, he oversees entertainment, sports, and other key category partnerships across a multi-platform footprint that reaches 1.6B+ unique users every 90 days. He also leads partnerships for the company’s upcoming direct-to-consumer membership app. Through his advisory practice, Execute Advisors, he embeds with founders and C-suites on partnership, revenue, and content strategy. He ran WME Sports’ content and social strategy team and doubled its revenue, helped The Wonder Project during and post the close its Series A and build its first partnership function, and advised YouTube-native Lunar-X on an eight-figure raise and its channel acquisition strategy. Earlier clients included TikTok, Jellysmack, and Sony Ventures-backed Illumix, acquired by Snap. At The Walt Disney Company he was General Manager of the Disney Growth Accelerator, running the company’s global program to find, invest in, and partner growth-stage startups across all four business units.
As a founding team member at Zefr, he built the RightsID rights-management business into a high-eight-figure, profitable operation with 95%+ customer retention, with the world’s largest platforms, studios, music labels and sports leagues. The business was acquired by Vobile Group.
He invests across media and frontier technology, including in the venture firm M13 and the autonomous driving company Waabi, and advises Wonder Project, Wildcatter Studios, Vobile Group and MiniStudio AI.
