I'm a social entrepreneur and gender equity advocate. I founded Ascend - Leadership Through Athletics to advance girls’ leadership development through sport. Prior to HKS I completed a master’s in international affairs at George Washington University. When I'm not working, I'm climbing, hiking, mountain biking or paddling in Maine with my sons and husband.

Post Harvard, I earned law degrees in the US and UK and practiced in various roles in environmental protection and energy. My wife and I also raised two terrific kids, now launched. I retired at the end of May from my position as an executive advisor in NYS government and am adjusting to a less-structured way of life and much more time at my family home on Islesboro. I write and occasionally publish poetry. A lot of it relates to Maine and my family's connections there.

Director of International AdmissionsOhio Wesleyan University
I have lived in Maine 24 years. I moved here to work as the Associate Dean of International Admission at Bates College and spent nearly 10 years with Bates. Since then I have continued to work at other colleges (remotely) in international admissions and study abroad. I have a daughter who is just starting college this fall. I have a husband with Parkinson's disease if anyone would like to put us in touch regarding that community as well. I am currently in between jobs and available for full-time, part-time or consulting work. My specialization is higher education, admission counseling, international recruitment, international travel planning, non-profit management, etc. I love traveling, cooking, mountain biking, and enjoying the great (Maine) outdoors. I'm interested in volunteering opportunities and other meet ups.
