Harvard College Alumni
Senior Class Committee
The Senior Class Committee (SCC) falls under the Harvard Alumni Association (HAA) and plans all social activities for the Class throughout senior year, culminating with Senior Week and Class Day. The first priority of the Senior Class Committee is to bring the Class together as a whole—offering leadership, forging community, and building a strong class identity as it prepares to enter into life as alumni. It is also expected that the SCC will offer general support to the efforts of the senior gift, with two senior gift chairs sitting as formal SCC members. However, personal involvement in fundraising is an individual decision and not a required duty of SCC members. After Commencement, the SCC members will also serve as Class-wide representatives, responsible for connecting the Class through communications, Reunions, and other events. As Classes transition into alumni life, the specific responsibilities and terms of class leaders will be stipulated in the Class’s constitution.
