From one corner of the world to another, our alumni community gathered together on Tuesday night, January 13, 2015 to network. Over 5,000 alumni and their guests attended the 13th Global Networking Night in one of 74 cities worldwide. Before, during, and after the event, attendees celebrated on Twitter. “The Taipei #GNN was awesome!” tweeted Randall Moeller AB ’87, “So are the folks in Taiwan’s #HarvardNetwork. Looking [forward] to the next one.” In Canada, alumni faced the elements to get together: “#HarvardClubQuebec members braved the ice [and] cold to meet [and] network!” according to Mitchell Miller EdM ’11, while Brian Mwarania AB ’15 declared that GNN in Nairobi was a “Fantastic event with great conversation, and connections. Always fun catching up!” Harvard Clubs, who co-sponsored the events, chimed in too: “Harvard Club of Washington DC thanks the HAA and the 530+ DC-area alumni who attended and made this the best GNN in DC ever!” tweeted the Harvard Club of Washington, DC, while the Harvard Club of Phoenix shared "A great night at the Phoenix #GNN—thanks to everyone who stopped by!" Natalie Keng MPP ’96 perfectly summed up the experience of Harvard alumni coming together when she shared, “We are diverse, we are strong, we are #Harvard.”

Held twice a year in January and June, Global Networking Night continues to engage thousands of alumni in cities around the world.
