Nearly $2.9 billion in financial aid has been awarded to Harvard College students since 2005, allowing talented undergraduates from all backgrounds to thrive at Harvard and beyond.

Harvard’s transformative financial aid program would be impossible without alumni, friends, and donors whose support makes a difference in the lives of scholars and their families for generations to come.

Undergraduate Financial Aid: By the Numbers

Families with annual incomes of $75,000 or less do not pay anything toward the cost of a Harvard College education.

Nearly 1 in 4 undergraduates comes from a family whose annual income is $75,000 or less.

55% of Harvard undergraduates receive financial aid and pay an average of $12,700 per year.

Over 80% of the Class of 2021 graduated debt-free.
