What is Challenge Week?
April 27–May 4, 2026: A group of dedicated Radcliffe supporters has pledged $250,000 if we receive 250 gifts of any amount during Challenge Week.
Many thanks to our generous funders: Kim G. Davis ’76, MBA ’78 and Judith N. Davis; Melanie Mason Niemiec ’71, MBA ’75 and David W. Niemiec ’72, MBA ’74; Gayle K. Turk ’94, MBA ’99; and Sarah B. Wigglesworth ’91.
Your Gift Matters
Philanthropy provides 96 percent of the Institute’s operating income, funding Radcliffe fellows, students, researchers, Schlesinger Library collections, and public programs.
As one of the world’s leading centers for interdisciplinary research, we are dependent upon the generosity and partnership of our donor community to accomplish our mission.
With your donation to Radcliffe, you are helping to sustain academic freedom, fuel scientific discoveries, and cultivate art that fosters new ways of engaging with the world.

At Radcliffe, Shayna Leng ’27 has found an intellectual home to explore her wide-ranging academic interests and pursue original research in the Schlesinger Library’s archives. One of her projects led her to uncover stories of the first Asian students to graduate from Radcliffe College.
Intellectual diversity, sometimes called viewpoint diversity, has become a highly contested term in discourse about higher education. Four scholars who’ve given considerable thought to this topic join Radcliffe Dean Tomiko Brown-Nagin to consider its meaning and value in the pursuit of knowledge.
