More than 100 people joined the Harvard University Planned Giving team in Seattle on May 5 for an event highlighting the topics of family, finance, and philanthropy. After catching up with one another at a lively reception, guests were welcomed to dinner by Gautham Reddy AB '85, president of the Harvard Club of Seattle. The program featured a thoughtful conversation led by Alasdair Halliday AB '82, philanthropic advisor and director of principal gifts, on some of the opportunities and challenges of family wealth. Anne McClintock, executive director of the University Planned Giving office, then discussed some considerations for effective charitable planning. The event was capped off with remarks from Peter Danelo AB ’72, JD ’75.
