My husband and I moved to Western Mass during COVID and are excited to be able to begin meeting new people in the area. I am starting private psychiatry practice and interested in connecting with other healthcare providers. I'll be moving from Baystate to a part-time position at the VA in Northampton, so would also be interested to meet anyone who has worked with veterans. My husband, Brad Hamilton, is a photographer, and hopes to connect with businesses and institutions in the area that might be in need of photographic services. He also has a fine arts practice, and would love to meet other people involved in the arts.

I am a free-lance editor and translator from Polish and Russian, specializing in the humanities and social sciences. I also have an active interest in the visual arts, music, and horticulture. I moved into the area only six months ago and am eager to discover the various opportunities for cultural and intellectual enrichment in western Massachusetts.

Human Rights
I just wrapped up 6+ years at the Harold Grinspoon Foundation (mostly grant writing). Next month, I'll be starting a foundation relations position with international aid organization Humanity & Inclusion. I was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Ukraine and also worked with human rights defenders in Myanmar - so I'm interested in international development, international politics, protection, and human rights. I'm also interested in international and arthouse movies.

My career focus has been creative thinking, problem solving and integrating media and technology into learning experiences. Now as I'm semi-retired, I have more time to spend time on gentle athletic pursuits: walking (usually with dogs) swimming and biking (usually without dogs!). The last few years I have been slowly converting my dry, sad lawn into native habitat. Still a ways to go but I am enjoying the learning and hands-on process!

My 15 yr old son and I have recently moved to the Berkshires from Florida because, as my grandmother used to say, "You can't get a proper education outside of Massachusetts." We're very excited about this new chapter and, as I've been a painter (www.cynthiamccallister.net since pictures are worth, well, you know) for almost 40 years and a dancer for three, I am looking forward to living in this inspiring environment. One of the things I've enjoyed most about being a Harvard grad is getting to meet other grads, always a lively and interesting crowd!

Futile and stupid gestures to save our world in this Age of the Asshole. Of which, attending this event may unfortunately prove to be one. Please prove me wrong. BTW I've been in exile in Australia since 1992. So I don't know anything.

Am relatively new to western MA and looking to connect with other Harvard alums now that the pandemic seems to be receding. Had a diverse career in natural resource management/conservation (mostly fishes) and education. Am now looking to increase my community involvement. And am a new student pilot (gliders).
