Your Harvard: Boston
On March 1, more than 600 alumni, parents, friends, and faculty gathered at Harvard Business School for Your Harvard: Boston. The event, which celebrated the thriving Harvard community in New England, was part of Your Harvard, a series of events that will be held throughout The Harvard Campaign to bring together the global Harvard community.

The evening's festivities included remarks by Drew Gilpin Faust, president and Lincoln Professor of History, Harvard University, who shared her vision for the future of the University and the role universities play in leading change in the world today.

In addition to Faust's address, the evening was filled with inspiring moments and opportunities for dynamic conversation.
Neal Baer EdM '79, AM '82, MD '96, pediatrician and television producer/writer, led a lively discussion on "The Science of Tomorrow and the Future of Humanity," featuring faculty speakers Danielle Allen PhD '01, professor of government in the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, professor of education at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, and director of the Edmond J. Safra Center for Ethics at Harvard University, and Douglas A. Melton, Xander University Professor, co-director of the Harvard Stem Cell Institute, and investigator of the Howard Hughes Medical Institute. Together they examined the new possibilities and challenges presented by the science of tomorrow and what that means for the future of humanity.
