Current Students
Student Access to Alumni.Harvard
Current students in most degree programs are eligible to register for Alumni.Harvard and access the Crimson Compass career advising network, provided that we have a record in the alumni database. Access for current students is restricted to Crimson Compass. Please see the Crimson Compass help page for more information on Crimson Compass.
In order to access Crimson Compass, you will need to register for a Alumni.Harvard user ID and password. Please see our registration help page for information on registering.
If you are a current student, you will be given access to other areas of the site, such as searching the alumni directory and creating a post.harvard.edu email forwarding address, when you graduate.
The alumni database currently includes records for students in most degree programs; however, students in some programs are not currently included:
- Harvard Business School doctoral students and first-year MBA students
- Harvard Extension School students
- Students in non-degree programs, such as executive education
Students in these schools or programs are typically added to the alumni database around the time of graduation or program completion, and will be eligible to register for Alumni.Harvard at that time. Please note that not all non-degree programs carry Alumni.Harvard eligibility; please see the registration help page for more information.
If you are interested in using Crimson Compass as a current student and are not able to register for Alumni.Harvard, you may be able to access Crimson Compass by visiting your school's career office. Please see our links and contacts page for information on how to contact your school's career office.
