Join us for an evening with Cristián Samper PhD ’92, director of the
Smithsonian’s National Museum of Natural History. Samper will talk about the
evolution of natural history museums over their 200 years, and their important
role in today’s society. New challenges and research technologies are opening
frontiers in our understanding of the natural world, and natural history museums
are at the forefront of communicating these changes to the public.
Following the lecture, join the HAA for a reception, with exclusive
access to the zoological, geological, and botanical exhibitions at the Harvard
Museum of Natural History.
The program includes a lecture followed by an exclusive HAA reception in the Harvard Museum of Natural History.
