Join us for an evening with Cristián Samper PhD ’92, director of the Smithsonian’s National Museum of Natural History. Samper will talk about the evolution of natural history museums over their 200 years, and their important role in today’s society. New challenges and research technologies are opening frontiers in our understanding of the natural world, and natural history museums are at the forefront of communicating these changes to the public.

Following the lecture, join the HAA for a reception, with exclusive access to the zoological, geological, and botanical exhibitions at the Harvard Museum of Natural History.

The program includes a lecture followed by an exclusive HAA reception in the Harvard Museum of Natural History.
