2017 Non-Profit Board Recruitment Fair at the Harvard Club of New York City
Do you want to be more involved with public service organizations in and around New York City? The Harvard Non-Profit Board Recruitment Fair, sponsored by the Center for Public Interest Careers (CPIC), Harvard Alumni Association, and Harvard Club of New York City, is a tremendous opportunity to connect with local non-profits who are seeking to expand their boards.
Please join us for an evening that begins with expert panel discussion, moderated by Triada Stampas AB ’98, Vice President for Research and Public Affairs for Food Bank For New York City, on the importance of volunteerism, what it means to serve on a non-profit board, and other volunteer opportunities within non-profits. Following the program there will be a fair for non-profit organizations to connect with Harvard alumni for specific board opportunities.
This event is free and open to Harvard alumni who are interested in serving on a non-profit board. You may register one non-alumni guest per Harvard alumnus. The Club's dress code rules apply. Business casual - no jeans, sneakers, or collarless shirts. Photography is not permitted in the Clubhouse.
If you have any questions about the event, please contact the Harvard Alumni Association Clubs and Shared Interest Groups department at email@example.com or 800-654-6494.
*Please note that organizations that register must provide clearly defined community services in order to be eligible to participate in this event. All submissions are subject to approval from the Center for Public Interest Careers, Harvard Alumni Association, and the Harvard Club of New York City.
